Psalms, 2015. Painting Installation (canvas, oil-based crayon), Germany.

This is a series of painting installation works, exhibited in Germany. Two hands are drawn on a canvas, one of a man and one of a woman. The hands are pierced into many holes by metallic nails, the light from the back of the light shines over, like golden, celestial light spilling on the hands. When people experience love, they experience light. The ight descends upon our hands, but we need to first experience human pain, thus the pierced hands, in order for that light to manifest.
