This is a series of painting installation works exhibited in Germany. Two hands are depicted on a canvas, one belonging to a man and the other to a woman. The hands are pierced with many metallic nails, and light shines from behind, resembling golden, celestial light spilling over the hands. When people experience love, they experience light. This light descends upon our hands, but we first need to endure human pain—represented by the pierced hands—before that light can manifest.
