Isolation, 2015. Installational performance (bones, Das Kapital, soil).

The gallery floor is covered with soil. Animal bones are arranged on the wall, a copy of "Das Kapital" positioned on top, with Marx’s portrait printed on the cover of the book.  In front of this wall is placed a hospital bed with water filled within. The artist lies within, and animal blood is sprinkled on her body through infusion tubes.

This work shows the plundering of natural life in the context of economic globalization, and the state of isolation and suspension that individuals experience. Everyone has become a potential killer and a potential victim of killing.  The sickly cannot be healed.
