Images in the Book Moving Images look like film stills. They are descriptive and they break a particular narrative line. They are some clips and instants, an ephemeral stop of various stories. In my shooting, there are some men and women who show a feminine temperament and some other men and women who display a masculine character. The combination of a masculine man and an effeminate man as well as that of a feminine woman and a masculine woman seems to unfold an analogy between the power distribution in same-sex relationships and that in heteronormative relationships in our society. This also poses a question about gender stereotypes. I suppose gender is a concept that features fluidity. It does not always have a distinct boundary.
