Love is Colder than Death

In May 2013 Li participated in “Single Moms”, an exhibition held at the Women's Museum in Bonn. In her performance “Love Is Colder than Death”, she walked to the audience and asked them, “Do you want to kill me?” Each time the audience replied she made a cut in her dress until it was full of cuts. She then tore the dress into pieces, leaving herself nude. The fragments were then pieced together into the form of a child which she carried outside and put in the center of the yard.
