In 2015, Beijing experienced severe haze, and the entire city felt like a massive gas chamber. People were filled with the fear of breathing, wearing masks and even gas masks. Li Xinmo created a series of works related to the haze, including installations and performances. The performance "Fog" was carried out by Li Xinmo in collaboration with the renowned artist Gao Zhen. In this performance, they acted as a couple, each wearing a mask and walking hand in hand through the streets of 798 Art District. They also stood on a high place, embracing and kissing through their masks. This work reflects the living conditions of people under the haze.
